It’s National Poetry Month. I love April. I haven’t been participating in the poem a day challenge, even though I wanted to, because I need to rest my arms a bit. What I have done is entered a poetry contest and applied for a 4-session poetry workshop with Cornelius Eady at the 92nd Street Y. He picks who he wants in his course–I hope he picks me.
In other amazing news: I’m going to be on the radio! Woo hoo! The Splinter Generation has asked me to read some poems and chat with Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo, poetry editor of the journal. So, tune in on Tuesday, April 13 at 8 p.m. (EST).
